Dr GC Anupama elected as president of astronomical Society of India

Dr GC Anupama had been elected president of astronomical society in India Asi Dr GC Anupama was elected to the post in the executive Council election for the titanium 2019 22. she has became the first woman to head the primary source solutions of professional astronomers in the country.

Dr GC Anupama at present is the dean and senior professor as a bengaluru-based of Indian Institution of Astrophysics Siddharth PhD in IIM Bangalore and her post doctorate Vara kathirunthen City Centre for astronomy and astrophysics at Pune she had been serving as a faculty at IIA Bangalore since 1994. she is also the recipient of sir CV Raman award for young scientist in 2000.

Dr GC Anupama was the project in the charges for the design and test placement of Himalayan telescope at Leh in the Ladakh and she's also part of Indian Court team which is part of International team and guest in this publishing this thought thirty metre telescope at cost of USD 1 billion in the USA.
